Removing Programs listed from the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs Section

If you delete an installed program and its files, it may or may not remain in the 'Add/Remove Programs' Control Panel.
In order to remove such programs from the list, do the following:
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Uninstall
2. Delete the keys or strings for programs you do not want to appear in the list
3. This will only delete them from the list, it will not delete the actual programs.
